Stereoscopic 3D is the next big ting for PC gaming, if you believe Nividia's marketing department. You can play your PC games in 3D without having to buy any expensive hardware. This will give you more of an experience when playing, as long as you have the $2 3D glasses, or just any cheap 3D glasses.
You can got to the Nividia website and download the proper 3D vision drivers. You want to select the 3D Vision as the product type, along with your operating system. If you're not running Nividia's latest GeForce video card drivers, you'll want to download and install those as well.
After yo've installed the 3D Vision drivers, launch the Nividia Control Panel from the Windows Control Panel on your computer. You should see the Stereoscopic 3D section. Expand that menu and click "Enable Steroscopic 3D"
In the next pop-up window, click "Enable 3D Vision Discover," which will switch Nividia's 3D Vision settings from 120 Hz shutter based to anagylph (red/cyan) which will run on any computer with a normal 60 Hz monitor.
The next time you launch a 3D Vision compatible game, you will be able to play it in 3D withou any pair of red/cyan glasses.
While laying though, you will notice that the anaglyph 3D will cause the game to loose a bit of their vibrancy when playing in the 3D mode. You can adult the 3D depth using Ctrl F3 and Ctrl F4 in order to find the perfect comfort level for you.
