Buying a 50-Inch HDTV

When in the market for a new TV, you'll want to make sure that you shop around so that you find the best TV for your needs. Most people go out and purchase the first low-priced TV that they can find, but they'll generally find that in a long-term perspective being a tightwad when buying the TV was not the way to go.
So, when you're in the market for your new HDTV, you'll want to make sure that you check out everything, and definitely read a few reviews before you make your final decision.
Typically, you want to start your search with the top brands, such as Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, and LG, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't limit your options to the other brands. It just means that's a good starting place. I mean, some of the other brands are better in some aspects or features.
My 27-inch HDTV is a Vizio and it's a pretty good little TV with a clear and crisp picture. But, anyway, you're looking for a much bigger screen for your (probably) bigger room.
When looking at 50 inch HDTVs, you want to consider the color quality, number of inputs, types of inputs, speakers, and sound quality.
