Company sues Apple over multi-touch technology

What do ya know, a Tawianese company is suing Apply over the touch-sensor-related technology that they use for the iPhone, iTouch, and other gadgets that are in the works. The ElanTech Devices Corporation owns a number of touch-sensing technology and claim that Apple violates at least one of their patents.
The company has stated that it owns the patents on the technology that reads finger positioning on a touch pad or touch screen, which includes all of Apple's notebooks, iPhones, and iTouch devices.
The company has filed suit against another company in the past for using the multi-touch technology. They won before, will they win again? The company isn't disclosing whether this new lawsuit has anything to do with the patent in the previous one.
Both ElanTech and Apple have a large number of patents on the touch-based interfaces, so who knows whether or not ElanTech has a leg to stand on this time.
They are trying to bar Apple from making or selling any more products that infringe their patents. If ElanTech wins, Apple's sales will be crushed, so you can bet that Apple will be fighting this suit with everything they've got and everything they can get.
