So I am a really big Blackberry fan, and I can't see myself upgrading to anything but a new Blackberry when the time comes. I don't think that I'll be getting the Pearl flip phone or any Blackberry flip phone, but that's just me... I mean I think that Blackberry just wanted to appeal to those who don't want a Blackberry because it's not a flip phone, but well now that there's a flip phone version, they'll probably have more sales.
The Blackberry Pearl 8220 comes in both red and black, but I bet that with time and popularity, I'm sure that the Pearl 8220 will come in more colors.
Size: 3.9 inches tall by 1.9 inches wide and 0.6 inches deep.
Weight: 3.5 ounces
The Blackberry flip phone features a 65,536 color, 128x160 pixel external display screen and a 2 MP camera that has flash and video-recording capabilities.
The Pearl 8220 has SureType keyboard and a trackball navigator. It, also, as a 3.5mm headphone jack and an external microSD card slot.
The Pearl Flip 8220 offers true world roaming, a speakerphone, smart dialing, and background noice cancellation. The Blackberry 8220 also includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 with D2DP support.
Although, the Blackberry Pearl Flip does not have GPS, it does have the Balckberry Maps application with the maps and text-based directions.

The Blackberry Flip 8220 doesn't have much different or many surprises than the Blackberry RIM Pearl 8120.
