Blackberry Storm
So the new Blackberry is only being released to Verizon customers and only in select counties, which sucks, but I guess if it's a hit, Blackberry will begin to release the new Blackberry cell phone to other cell phone providers, such as Sprint, AT&T, etc.
So, the commercial caught my interest, and a quick internet search led me to the new, super cool Blackberry Storm.
The Blackberry Storm is a touch screen cell phone that offers all the coolness of a regular Blackberry PDA cell phone, but with a touch screen and stylus. You'll find that the new upgraded 3.2 MP camera and the 8GB memory chip that is included is a sweet deal. I mean, my Blackberry Curve came with a 1GB SD chip, but 8 GBs! Awesome deal.
The Blackberry storm has the same basic software as the iPhone with the automatic screen changes between landscape and portrait. There is the QWERTY keyboard and realistic mouse and keyboard feel to the phone.
The Blackberry Storm will be a HUGE competitor to the Apple iPhone, and only time will tell what Apple releases to compete with the Blackberry Storm, but personally, who needs an iPhone, when Blackberries are just so much better. They are the true all in one phone, and unless the company goes downhill in the future, I can't see myself trading a Blackberry for anything other than another Blackberry.
Personally, if I had Verizon, I'd be pissed because I just purchased my Blackberry Curve, but since the Blackberry Storm is only being released to Verizon for now, I have nothing to be mad about, but you can bet when it's time for me to upgrade in a year or two, I'll definitly consider the newest Blackberry phone, and I'm sure by then the features of hte Blackberry Storm will be enhanced even more.
