Electronic Paper VS Tangible Paper

More and more electronic reading devices are being created that it's possible regular paper is going to be seen as obsolete in the future. We no longer need books anymore since we have e-readers.
The current digital readers are pretty basic with a basic resolution and black text on a non-lit background in order to prevent glare and to make the ease of reading better and simpler. You don't have to worry about what lighting your in because it's essentially just like reading a regular book. Now, of course low lighting isn't the most optimum reading conditions, so that should always be kept in mind.
But, will electronic books ever really kill paper?
It's possible, as we no longer need letters with email, newspapers are online, magazine articles are online, and some internet deals are better than going to the store. When it comes to coupons, I'm sure there's a way they can be made electronic. But, I doubt paper will completely go away. Many people, myself included, prefer a real book versus the electronic one.
The main concern is going to be where books and paper are just not environmentally friendly. The digital readers and electronic paper devices hold as many books as you want, without cluttering the landfill if you throw one away (or delete it rather). Buying books, newspaper subscriptions, and magazines on digital readers saves money in many cases as well. Where a hardback book may cost $20 or more, you can generally purchase the electronic version for $9.99.
Some companies are working on making electronic paper better. With higher contrast even in color. Some are even working on letting the readers play movies. Technology is advancing and the old methods are being outdated fast.
