Problems with iPhone 4

Although the iPhone 4 reached sales of about 1.7 million in a matter of 3 days, that doesn't mean that the phone is any good. Yes, it has the famous Apple interface and overall feel, but there have been a few major complaints about the phone that should be noted before you go out and purchase one.
The major problems include reception and signal problems... IE dropped calls that aren't related to AT&T service. The problems are caused by Apple's poor design of the new iPhone.
Basically, the way Apple is coping is by telling their customers that they're wrong and holding the device all wrong. Who knew there was a right and wrong way to hold a cell phone while in use?
The concern lies in how Apple designed the antenna system. They integrated the antenna into the exterior steel band that surrounds the entire device. When users hold the cell phone in the left hand, the reception bars that indicate reception and signal strength start to drop.
By holding the phone wrong, you will experience difficulty maintaining calls and retaining a data connection.
How can you troubleshoot the issue:
1. Avoid gripping the lower left corner of the phone
2. Avoid covering the sides of the black strip in the metal band
3. Purchase a case and use it
Although, reception issues won't sink the iPhone 4, it's a big concern that many people have and may likely cause a concern for sales. Nothing substantial, I wouldn't doubt, especially as Best Buy and Radio Shack are completely sold out.
Oh, and as a side note, another concern is a gross yellow blotch, sort of lik ea glue residue, that appears under the glass screen of some iPhone 4s. But, this is minimal compared to the reception issues that so many people are having.
