These 900MHzx speakers produce a high quality sound from virtually any audio or video device whether inside or outside for up to 150 feet away. All you have to do is connect the transmitter to your audio source so that you can enjoy the wireless, full-spectrum sound without any complicated wiring.
The wireless speakers are compatible with iPods, MP3 player, CD, DVD, TV, hi-fi systems, and radios.
When you purchase the set for $170, you receive two weatherproof (not waterproof) speakers, a wireless remote so that you can control the volume and automatically scan the frequency tuning. The remote is powered by 2 AA batteries, and the speakers require 6 C batteries. If you don't have the C batteries, you can use the AC adapter.
The set comes with two speakers, which are weatherproof, which does not mean they are waterproof. Don’t expect audiophile quality sound, but it should be enough, and there’s bass boost, but that’s about as advanced as the options get.
When you put your iPod in the transmitter box, you'll notice that the box is weatherproof and it'll charge your iPod while it sits.
The overall sound quality is better closer than further away, so even though the speaker signal can reach up to 150 feet, you'll find that you'll get a better sound if your closer, but for the most part, these speakers are pretty nice and great for the average user.
