Microsoft is pretty much banning any unofficial memory card for the xbox 360. You want to go ahead and back up your games and data on an official Microsoft Xbox 360 card ASAP because with the next xbox update, you won't be able to use your other brand memory card.
The new update will add other features such as Last.fm, Facebook, and Twitter, but the biggest concern that will affect many gamers is the ban of other memory cards. The unofficial brands are sometimes cheaper, making them more popular in some cases, but you don't want to use them any more. You just won't be able to.
The update will be available next week, so it's nice for the heads up. Get busy converting everything over now. If you try to use the unofficial memory storage card after the update, you won't be able to access any of the stored games or profiles.
So, it's pretty simple. Buy a Microsoft 360 memory card and transfer everything over as soon as you get the card home.
