Palm Pre Release Date and Price

Sprint has announced that the Palm Pre will be released on June 6th for $199.99 with a two-year service agreement and after a $100 mail-in rebate, the phone company said on Tuesday.

Sprint will be the exclusive carrier of the Pre at least until the end of 2009. They are hoping that the Pre release will help prevent customers from leaving and switching to the Blackberry Storm or iPhone.


For specs, check out Palm Pre Features. The Palm Pre is going to feature the Sprint 3G network, personal and professional calendars, email, contact lists, and so much more. The Palm touchscreen with a slide out keyboard is going to be the next biggest thing.

But, make sure that you get your Palm Pre as soon as you can because they're only releasing a limited number of 200,000 units until the fourth quarter of 2009. When you purchase your Pre, also make sure that you purchase all the right accessories for Palm Pre.
