Thinnest 8MP Cellphone Camera Module

Samsung has announced that they have probably the thinnest camera module for a cell phone. This little camera piece is 8.5mm thin, but with its 8 megapixels, it should surpass the measely 5MG cameras in today's cell phones and cameras.
This ultra thin camera module features anti-shake technology, a 1cm macro, and face tracking technology, making it not only the thinnest camera module but probably one of the best. This Samsung camera module is also going to have a smile shutter technology that clicks a picture as soon as a smile is detected, which will definitely cut down time when snapping pictures of kids.
It should be a matter of time before Samsung and other companies begin to impelement this ultra thin camera module so that we, consumers, can purchase and use it. And again once released, I'm sure there will be many other companies who start producing their own ultra thin camera module.
