USB Hamster Wheel

hamster wheel

I found this a rather interested concept. Basically, the concept behind the USB hamster wheel is that where you're at a race against the world and work, the hamster is at a race against, well, himself.

This USB hamster wheel is the ideal way to lighten your day. All you have to do is plug the hamster wheel into your USB port, load the software that is included with the hamster wheel, and type. As you type on your computer, the hamster starts running, spinning the wheel with him. The faster that you type, the faster the hamster runs.

The USB hamster wheel features a cute, furry hamster in a red plastic wheel, that is essentially powered by your USB port when you start typing. It's really as simple as that.

There is an on/off switch so that you can give your hamster a break when you think he needs it, too.

The software to install the hamster wheel is included and compatible with Windows 2000 and Windows XP, which means that it probably won't work with Windows Vista, but hey there are still many, many companies running on XP.

The hamster wheel runs on two AA batteries.

The hamster is not a real hamster and is not suitable for your pet hamster at that.

Do you sometimes feel that you're caught up in the rat race of the working world, and that you are chained to your desk and getting no-where fast? Well we've found the perfect way to lighten the load. Now we can't promise to take you out of the rat race but we can throw a hamster in there to mix it up a bit.

The USB Hamster Wheel is an utter delight. Plug it into your USB port, load the software from the CD provided and get typing. As you type, the hamster gets running, spinning the hamster wheel around in the process - the faster you type, the faster he runs. This demented rodent sent shrieks of laughter around the office when we tested it, and is the ultimate parody of modern society.
