Germ Guardian UV-C Air Sanitizer

June 3rd 2009 12:36
UV rays have been proven to be the ideal germ killer, but unless you rip the roof off of your home, it can be hard to kill the germs and bacteria in your home unless of course you use various chemicals, which just isn't healthy. This is where the UV Air Sanitizer comes into play.

The product kills 99% of bacteria, viruses, and germs in the air. It also significantly reduces the airborne mold and fungal spores, as well. The UV Air Sanitizer does not clean the air of particles, so don't expect it to suck up the dust or anything like that because that's not what the product is built for.

The Germ Guardian Air Sanitizer kills harmful bacteria that are known to cause staph, pneumonia, tuberculosis, bronchitis, and meningitis. It also helps to rid the room of smells caused by mildew, smoke, pets, etc.

The fan is not very powerful, but again it's not meant to flush the air of airborne particles; the fan has enough power to suck up the dirty air in the room and release clean, germ-free air.

Basically, the Germ Guardian Air Sanitizer uses UV-C technology to kill the bacteria and germs in the air within a 10' x 20' room, making it perfect for offices, most bedrooms, bathrooms, and cubicles. There is a reflective chamber that the air must pass through before releasing back into the room; within the chamber the UV light is able to sterilize the air.

You can vary the air control to different settings to your liking. The product does not use a filter nor chemicals, making it safe to use around children and pets. The Germ Guardian Products have been proven 98% effective by the Harvard School of Public Health.

You can find it in three colors- stainless steel, white, and black- which means that you can best match your home decor and current appliances.
