Nokia Wood Cell Phone

Believe it or not, but Nokia actually sat down and created a wooden cellphone. Hulger even has one that four people can actually afford. So, yea, it's pretty expensive. But look at it below it' s mad cool.
Basically, the Nokia eco-team designed this wooden phone with an 8MP handset. It works perfectly fine, but you won't find it in the market any time soon.
You never know this wooden, environmentally friendly cell phone may be the beginning of a whole new series of eco-friendly cell phones. They already have the water phone... Although. like the wooden phone, it's just not on the market either..
What's the point in all the money spent in the design and actual manufacture, if the phones will never be on the market?
You tell me.
But, you'll find that Nokia isn't the only company trying to make the best wood cell phone. Two guys in Korea created the maple phone (first image). It has a touch sensitive keypad and a camera. It's not the most appealing looking cell phone, but it's bound to be more heavy duty than a regular plastic phone. Right now it just looks like a block of wood with number stickers on it, but hey you never know how it may turn out with a little more work and time.
